3-step crochet flower - How to make the easiest and most delicate crocheted flower

Little details always make the difference. That's why, today I'm gonna show you the most easy and delicate flower to make.

I used a thicker scrap yarn, so I can show you better the details, but if you'll use some thinner yarn it's gonna be absolutely gorgeous.

Materials:

  • Yarn: Merango Basic uni (orange) - 100% polyacryl (50 gr ~ 133m)

  • Crochet hook: 3 mm

  • Scissors and tapestry needle

Stitches and abbreviations (U.S. terms):

  • st(s) - stitch(es)

  • ch - chain stitch

  • yo - yarn over

  • tc - treble crochet

  • BL(O) - back loop (only)

START:

Step1:  Leaving a 20cm long tail, ch54.

Now, yo twice on your hook and make 1tc in BL of 5th ch from the hook, and then, working BLO, work 2tc in each ch all along. In the end you will have 100tc. Close your work.

Step 2: As you moved forward, your work twisted. You will have something like this.

Twist as your work goes to.

Step 3: Now, with your tapestry needle and that 20cm long tail, sew the back of your flower, sealing it.

That's it! You did it! You just made the most simple and delicate crochet flower.

I hope you enjoyed my proposal today. I'm waiting for you in the next post to learn how to transform this flower into a beautiful accessory!

Sharing is caring!

Thank you!

Eleni
